Rapid-Ear-Flapping

Flapping the ears vigorously and rapidly in a raised position. Rapid-Ear-Flapping is usually observed in association with Head-Raising and, often, brief Ear-Folding. This posture is almost always seen in the context of greeting or bonding interactions and during other excited, social and chorused calling. (63) Elephants may also flap their ears hard against the body in aggressive circumstances in association with Ear-Folding and/or Bow-Neck.
