Welcome to ElephantVoices

Our name has a double meaning - to share what we know about elephants with you and to act as a voice for elephants.

Having studied the natural behavior of elephants in the wild over several decades, we have considerable experience contemplating what the interests of these intelligent and social beings might be. It is our hope that by sharing our knowledge with you, we can work together to ensure a kinder future for elephants.

Each one of us has a role to play in effecting change. As our burgeoning human population impacts the earth's dwindling resources, factoring in respect for the needs of other species is ever more critical. So, whether you are a scientist, a wildlife manager, an elephant handler, a politician with influence over elephant policies, an elephant enthusiast, a student working on an elephant project, or a person somewhere on the globe surfing the web, this website was written with you in mind.
